Scheduled runs

Your roadmap grows while you sleep.

A standing job reads your repos overnight — or weekly, or once at a time you set — and comes back with proposals. At most three. Accept them into the roadmap or dismiss them forever. Time comes back as a queue of decisions, not a queue of work.

Standing jobs

3 scheduled
nightly · 02:00 · review acme-api since last run
weekly · Sunday · dependency check · papertrail
once · 22:00 · look at castaway before the release

A standing job is any prompt. It runs unattended, with no window, and the results wait in the morning.

The overnight

You close the laptop. It reads the repos.

Nothing to hand over and nothing to queue — the run was already standing. It looks at what changed, what broke and what was left half-finished, and it does not touch one line of it.

  1. 18:04

    You close the laptop

The day ends where you left it. Nothing is handed over, because nothing needs to be.

  2. 02:00

    The run wakes

It reads five repos in the dark — what changed, what broke, what was left half-finished — and changes none of them.

  3. 08:12

    Three cards waiting

At most three, every time. Nothing filed, nothing pushed, nothing decided while you were asleep.

The editor

Three ideas. You stay the editor.

A run that finds twenty things still proposes three. The cap is the feature: a queue you can clear in a minute is a queue you will actually read.

At most three, per run
The cap holds however much a run finds. Twenty proposals is a backlog you skim once and never open again; three is a decision you make with coffee.
Accept files the issue
It lands in the repo as an ordinary GitHub issue, with the labels that repo already has — ready for a session, or ready to sit there.
Dismiss is forever
A dismissed idea is never proposed again. The queue gets quieter the more you use it, which is the opposite of every other inbox you own.
The promise

A queue of decisions, not of work.

The roadmap grew overnight. Three cards, nothing filed unasked. Time comes back as decisions you can make in a minute, not a pile of work that already happened without you.

08:12 · 3 suggestions · 0 issues filed
