Before you start
checked on first runIndieGent checks all of this the first time it opens, and tells you exactly what is missing.

- Sessions clone, branch and push with it.

- The GitHub CLI, signed in. Issues, pull requests and your repo list come through it.
- claude
- Claude Code, on your PATH. IndieGent drives it; it never replaces it.
- grok
- Grok Build. If you already pay for it, pick it per project — it sits outside the checklist's count.
The two are not identical, and the page that says so is the one to read: a Grok session does not stream live status, so its row moves when the work lands rather than while it runs.

There is no account to make and nothing to paste into IndieGent. It opens against the GitHub you are already signed in to.

Open the disk image and drag IndieGent to Applications.
